Beauty: Inner, Outer

Heart is filled with happiness when it sees or feels something beautiful. There is magnetic magic in beauty. In general, any person gets attracted by beauty. It might be an object, nature or a person. If a person goes for beautiful object or nature, it will not change that person's life but if the same goes for a person of beauty, then comes the situation of his or her life being changed.

Regarding binding our lives forever, it is our pleasure and a matter of satisfaction to look for beauty in the other person but it is not always good and healthy to go for outer looks alone. As we often hear the saying, "Beauty is skin deep", we need to look for inner beauty also. When there is outer beauty, one's mind is happy. When there is inner beauty one's soul is happy. Only when there is a balance between these two can there be harmony at a place or between two hearts.

It is not always true that a beautiful person is beautiful at heart too and that there will be peace at home. In the present era, youngsters very easily get infatuated and deceived by outer looks and they go ahead without pausing and they very quickly get married prefixing this term 'Marriage' with 'Love.' Later when they get used to that beauty, they start looking for inner beauty rather than outer looks. They repent for what they have done without giving much thought. But all this repentance is in vain as they are already bound with another person.

Inner Beauty - How Can You Find It?

What each of us keep bottled up inside is a great determinant of what we put out for others to see. Most times it does not talk of who or what we really are but shifts attention from what we truly want to that other flaw that we want to suppress.

Our temper, our mind disposition even our state of mind or intellectual ability often comes to war with what we want to put out there as society demands. What the society wants us to put out is what brings most of us down and makes us think less of ourselves.

What we fail to see is that inner beauty that exists within you. The being that is rooted deep in us is what we should use as a big part or our life. Finding that inner beauty is an issue that most of us has to deal with most days.

In us, we possess a great power or presence that we most times overlook because we want to make something out of ourselves to make people look differently at us.

Our inner being makes us who we really are and no matter how long we fight it, it will always come out. Our inner being is as strong as a wind after a heavy rain that always makes its presence felt even after the downpour.

In some of us, we find id difficult to see it and these leads many people to live a life that is devoid of peace, happiness and they see the worst in everything.
To come to peace with yourself, these are the ways at which you can bring out that TRUE beauty in you that people should see. These ways are:

True Beauty Radiates From The Inside Out

Beauty is about far more than looks. Sure, finding the right product can make you look great on the outside. But beauty is about personality and depth of character as well as how we look on the outside. It is about what is hidden deep in the soul. It is a reflection of our humanity.

Beauty is far more what we are than what we appear to be. Looks of course do matter but true beauty encompasses the internal as well as external looks. So beauty radiates from the inside out. When we feel good on the inside we become more empowered and able to surround ourselves with the goodness we deserve. We in turn show up in the world as bright lights and confident people. We can be more supportive and most importantly live authentically.

Inner Beauty is True Beauty

I was watching Jessica Simpson on the Oprah Winfrey show recently. Jessica Simpson's career started as a squeaky clean character, but wealth and celebrity boosted her into the lime light and the scrutiny of everyone. The snappers are every where she is going, and there relentless pursuits have taken away her freedoms and her capabilities to live a regular life.

With all this has come the remarks of her weight, and her personal life. Jessica Simpson is a very attractive lady. She told Oprah that her current dress size is four. 4! She said that the largest she's ever been is a size 6. I am sorry folks, but that's not fat!

One of the most sexiest girls the world has ever known was Marilyn Monroe. She was an actress and a woman that was the dreams of thousands of men. Talk about beauty, Marilyn Monroe had it all. Let me tell you what her dress size was. Are you prepared for this? Twelve. Yes, I said 12! If Jessica Simpson is considered fat at a size six, what would Marilyn Monroe be considered today? She would most likely be regarded as fat.

Inner Beauty and Outer Beauty

The false dichotomy between inner beauty and outer beauty has been a source of confusion to many. This is to make the clarifications needed to overcome this confusion.

The two concepts - inner beauty and outer beauty - refer to very different and unrelated things. A better term for "inner beauty" is "personal goodness." And there is no reason why personal goodness would be related, one way or another, to physical appearance. Unrelated concepts mean: zero correlation. It will be possible to find both personal goodness and lack of personal goodness at every level of physical attractiveness; and it will be possible to find physical beauty and lack of physical beauty at every level of personal goodness.

Thus, my daughter, my mother, my sister, and the women I've loved, all had both inner beauty and outer beauty. Whereas Andrea Dworkin and most of her followers are both physically ugly and horrible people. These horrible people then claim ridiculously to speak for a half of the world's population even as they command other women to toe their malignant line and maliciously attack and abuse those who would not. I doubt I am the only person who believes that women deserve a better representation than is afforded by these jerks.

The Definition of Beauty

The definition of beauty is taken from both individual and social perspectives. Some people define beauty as characteristics related to outer beauty such as complexion, health, youthful appearance and facial symmetry. Beauty however is a mixture of both inner and outer aspects of beauty. Characteristics of a person, such as their personality, their politeness, their integrity, their elegance, their charisma, their intelligence and their grace can be considered as aspects of inner beauty. These aspects define what inner beauty is, and are factors that can be felt and sensed when the person is around, and not just perceived by the eyes alone.

Culture also dictates the standards of beauty and is constantly changing. The concept of beauty has changed from curvaceous women in the past to the skinny ones of today. Regardless of this, it is still up to the individual person to define and judge what is beautiful. The adage "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" rings true in that what is beautiful for you is not necessarily beautiful for another, it is akin to the saying "one man's drink is another man's poison".
